i used dell D610 latitute laptop. So, is it possible that the laptop speakers got blown out after I connected it to my laptop? I think it finally worked when I set it to "Text 1". Moreover, I realized that my s-video out itself was not working the way it worked till then. See wikipedia for what the pins are for. is that trapezoid with the 15 holes (but no screw holes on the sides) the vga port?

Does S Video Support Audio

S-video input slots are circular with several small holes clustered around the middle of the port. I use to use the S-Video feature with this laptop and watch movies in my TV till yesterday.
