Rover 75 Electric Seats Not Working

I got 20mpg average from a 3.5 litre BMW and it's journeys were either a) Short trips of around a mile b) driving it enthusiastically. I have no clue what you're doing Tali! Benefit is our lass can reset the seats when the ecu stops responding plus it looks a good and neat job. I took the supply from the fusebox, and jumped from pass seat to drivers seat. If the seatback adjust works but not the forward/back it is more likely a connection problem.. It has happened to me twice.

Theory from Rover was that something was spiking the CAN BUS to the seat ECU, unplugging it rebooted it. I can have a look at the circuit diagram once I know.

The blue plug is on the airbag system so wouldn't affect the seats fuse. I have identified the 4 wires going from the motors and heating elements to the plug socket as in the pic below. What does the yellow relay type unit is do, is it anything to do with reversing the polarity for the motors. check over here I've no idea why he thought the rest of the car would be reliable!
