Looking at my Wii unit, there are 2 USB ports in the back of the unit, and I don't recall offhand if the Wii version of Rock Band 2 came with Kind of annoying... Wow...really? Loading...
I managed to play half a song yesterday. Unlike the XBOX... If the problem was interference from Wavebird / GC stuff, I wouldn't consider it a major issue. I don't have a working guitar dongle pair to try swapping it with to test this theory though.

I think I left the power switch in the "on" position when I left, however I can't be sure. Press the sync button on the Wireless Adapter, followed by the sync button on the wireless guitar.
