I found this solution already in another post and thought that I have turned it off, but it seems like I didn't! Instead, you will need to open the Firefox Configuration page. This option is no longer available in the Options menu. After, you know what group is causing the issue.
I would put it down to me rebooting, but I have rebooted a lot of times since encountering this problem...I just hope it has stop occuring on my laptop as well! why not test by (re)moving the settings.ini files and see if Adwaita works?I tried with both the gtk themes named Adiwata and Xfce.
