What I was very cheesed off about was that the 1.5DCi engine vibrated very badly from cold and sound like an aircraft taking off. Push it back into the block as far as it will go and recconect it to the motor regulator. Dont give Renault your hard earned cash!!! This seems to have done the trick for now. But I spent hours with multimeters and emery paper and changing electrical and other sundry components, and have never been more glad in my life not to have electric toys. If anyone has any questions etc bout this...
With what you're telling about the state of the inside of the door as you removed the door card, I do suspect moisture may come back again. Working... My wife has a megane registered in 2008, it's done 24000 miles and both front windows have these problems. I've to do the back door at some point too so I'll double check all those things.
