The drip pan is directly behind these wires and warm moist air is being blown directly over these wires every time the defrost fan comes on. Has there been any similar complaints on this fridge and what can I do to correct it? I just asked for a replacement (free) and the next one lasted over a year so far. This should fix the issue and water should flow from the dispenser as normal. no lights come on and no buttons work. There may be a simple way to get the fridge back to normal if it went into demo mode using the control panel and holding and pressing 2 of the buttons It seems like the longer you leave it alone-the more water comes out before is does this.
However, I need help with a different problem and ask help from the fixit community. I have seen some designs that just used a large coil of supply line in the fridge behind the bottom drawer. When the defrost light was on, water dripped out the front of the door, it had nothing to do with the drip pan. However, the fridge and freezer are still cooling fine.

I did have maids clean the house today while I was at work. Check the back of your freezer to be sure that the hole is not blocked or frozen. The reason why the original connector fails is because of its location in front of the drip pan. I can hear the motor running but no water comes out. Try removing the water filter and with the filter removed the water should bypass the filter and flow at the normal pressure. A clogged water filter will cause no water at all or very slow water dripping from the dispenser.
