I think that rules out a few culprits (Routing and Remote Access shoudl be fine, Terminal Server Confirg should be fine); the only service that didn't start automatically is Remote Procedure Because Of A Security Error The Client Could Not Connect To The Remote Computer 2008 In the registry the PortNumber value is strangly "2008" (we never changed it to that) but telnet IP-SERVER 2008 is not working either.
